Summertime Fun at LACMA & the Tar Pits
I’ve had the most amazing time in Europe, but I’m excited to be heading home to my hubby and pup. Nate and I have been enjoying Jazz at LACMA this Summer. Every Friday from 6-8pm at the Smidt Plaza the public is invited to enjoy some of LA’s finest jazz musicians.
At our most recent visit, we were able to check out the new Second Home Serpenitine Pavillon located between the La Brea Tar Pits and LACMA. Second Home has teamed up with the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles to create the rainbow inspired installation.
Designed by Spanish architects Luca Cano and Jose Selgas, the pavilion will host music and art talks though November. You can enjoy Jazz at LACMA and the Second Home Serpentine Pavilion free of charge all summer long.
