Spring Sunsets at the Water's Edge
Growing up I spent many Spring evenings with my father at local ponds and lakes. We enjoyed listening to the sounds at sunset…cicadas singing, bullfrogs calling, and the occasional fish splashing. Sunsets by the water were always special.
As an adult I still enjoy sunset at the water's edge, but now I listen to ocean waves bubble against the shoreline and I watch the sun disappear against the horizon.
With wind blown hair and sand between my toes, I happily wish the day adieu and welcome evening's rest.
